Sylvie obtained her Master's degree in Law, majoring in Criminal Law, from the Free University of Brussels with distinction in 2019. In academic year 2019-2020, she took an additional course in Tax Law, also at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She combined these studies as a working student with her position as a court clerk at the Antwerp Court of Appeal, where she was, among other things, executive clerk at the registry chamber of indictment and press clerk.
After having worked at the Antwerp Court of Appeal for 10 years, including 5 years at the public prosecutor's office and 5 years as registrar, she made the switch to the legal profession on 1 September 2020 and joined the Antaxius office.
